How to store network circuits?

Hi all,

May I ask how people are storing network circuits in GLPI?

For instance, we have different circuits:

BTnet (internet connections)
MPLS (private business networks)
ADSL (internet connections)
PSTN lines (dial-up)
Cable

We looked to store them under Management... Lines... but we can't link them (in GLPI) to the routers which are the physical endpoints.
So how are others managing such assets/services?

Thank you.

i remember the connections plugin adresses this need: https://plugins.glpi-project.org/#/plugin/connections
unfortunately nobody supports the plugin anymore

Re: How to store network circuits?

This topic has had no replies for a long time but it's still an issue.

Have you managed to find a way of keeping this kin of assets in GLPi ? instead of keeping it in a spreasheet ?

I'm also interested in this and still have a challenge.  I currently use Excel spreadsheets which can't be automated sad

Re: How to store network circuits?

GLPI 10.1 will allow directly linking Lines to any type of asset that can have a simcard without having to link the line to a simcard and then link the simcard to an asset.
This will allow linking Lines directly to Computers, Peripherals, Phones, Network Equipment, and Printers.
In GLPI 10.0, you could create a "dummy" simcard in order to link the lines to your network equipment.
