New fields in an object

Hi everybody, I will like to know if is possible to add new fields for the custom objects in the glpi data base, for example adding a particular Id number that we use in ours computers, so it will became a new field to our computers.
Thanks for answering!

Re: New fields in an object

Yes it could, but I wanted to know if there is another option to create new fields.
Thanks for answering so quickly.

Re: New fields in an object

I altered table glpi_computers by adding some VARCHAR columns (needed more specific fields for computer evidence).
But now I would like to know which files (templates) I need to edit to get it working.
