Edit/Alter FollowUP

Hi friends,

I can't edit/delete my follow-up.

For example, if i wrote a wrong word, i'd like to edit to correct, but in the last version it's not possible, this is the expect way to work ?

I'd like to change some follow-ups to private for example.

Any idea ? It's a bug or a configuration ?

Tks

Re: Edit/Alter FollowUP

HI,
glpi version ?
check administration >profiles>[MyProfile]>assistance > followups

it's not a bug, it's a feature :

if you send notification after add followup, ( ie "technician will come monday" ) requester will receive an email  "technician will come monday" then you change to "technician will come tuesday" then no notification is sent and requester will wait for you monday, and your tech reads "tuesday".

in this case, i think it's better to add new followup " sorry for mistyping :  we will come tuesday instead monday"

Re: Edit/Alter FollowUP

Hi,

First, thank you for the quickly reply.

The problem is not the email notification, the problem is that I can't edit an added follow-up.

I can't change the monday to tuesday for example.

Any idea ?

Re: Edit/Alter FollowUP

You don't have the right to update a follow-up.

check administration >profiles>[MyProfile]>assistance > followups

You can mark this threat as [resolved] in subject of your threat. (This is only available edit of the first post.) It is good for users who help others to quickly see which post is still open.

Re: Edit/Alter FollowUP

I tried to look this configuration, but it seems to be correct sad

I'm member of admin group, and at the admin profile the options are enabled.

I have all this checked

See public ones
Update followups (author)
Add followup (requester)
Purge
Add followup (associated groups)
Update all
Add to all tickets
See private ones
Add to all items
Select/unselect all

Any other suggestion ?

PS: i tried to insert na image here to show the option, without sucess.

Re: Edit/Alter FollowUP

Do you have more profiles for this user ?
The correct profile is active one ?
Do you have more entities ?
check for crashed tables

mysqlcheck -c glpidb --auto-repair

Re: Edit/Alter FollowUP

Hi,

No, only the admin profile.

The users at Normal profile could edit too, but they can't.

Yes, we have about 10 entities, the user is configured at the root entity with recursive option.

The result of crashed tables is "OK" for all.

I tried with Edge and Firefox, without sucess. When I click at the follow-up it simply stay at the same state.

Any additional idea ?

Thank you very much for the attention !
