Have just upgrade from 0.9.5 to 9.1 and everything ran as expected... but when tried to re-activate plugins I found that almost every plugin shown: " This plugin requires GLPI >= 0.90"
So It seems there is a validation issue with all plugins.
BTW: With 0.9.5 every plugins were updated.
List of used plugins:

you have to wait for new versions for plugins compatible with 9.1 for few weeks ( look plugins roadmaps for more informations)
until now,some plugins are not yet upgraded.
have a look here for 9.1 compatibles plugins :
http://plugins.glpi-project.org/#/version/9.1/plugins

This search isn't always accurate
example: the addressing plugin is listed, but there is no 9.1 version (2.3.0 is not compatible with 9.1)

@stoatwblr,
It is compatible. When you check setup.php for version 2.3.0 at line 82 it states:
Good for versions > 0.85.3 and <= 9.2
So you are good to go.

Perhaps I am running one of the git versions then. It identifies as 2.3.0 but it demands <= 9.0
I will check further
