Printers/Tonner/Printed pages - SNMP

Hi!

Sorry my English! tongue

I'm new one here.

I'm using Fusioninventory 0.85+1.1 with GLPI 0.85.4 on Ubuntu server 14.04.

Im trying to get Tonner status and printed pager counter.

What do i have to do? Is there a step by step manual?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Printers/Tonner/Printed pages - SNMP

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

I had already done that and its working partially... Partially because not all network printers appear on my inventory...

Al printers must be instaled on computer with alloed agent?

Can i use na agent from a computer with no printer instaled?

Its only necessary that agent can comunicate with printer?

Do i have to manual add printer on glpi inventory?

If my glpi server can comunicate with network printers (i can positively test that with snmpwalk command, for ex...), can install agent on my server and do that work for me?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

No need to install printers on computer with agent

You can

Yes

> Do i have to manual add printer on glpi inventory?
As a last resort )

> If my glpi server can comunicate with network printers (i can positively test that with snmpwalk command, for ex...), can install agent on my server and do that work for me?
This is the best variant, in my opinion
