Dear all,

Fresh installation GLPI version 0.85.4
Follow these steps:

01. Logon as glpi/glpi
02. From Administration -> Entities add new entity as child of "Root entity" (e.g. SubEntity)
03. Relog to apply changes/make entity visible
04. From Assets -> Computers add a new computer (e.g. Comp1)
05. From Assistance -> Changes add a new item (e.g. New one)
06. Now choose new added item and on right pane choose "Items" and assign a Computer "Comp1".
07. From Assets -> Computers select "Comp1" and on right side choose "Changes".
08. A change "New one" appear on screen.
09. From "My settings" set "Use GLPI in mode" = debug and Save.
10. Now choose an entity selector under menu bar and select only "Root entity" (without tree structure).
11. From Assets -> Computers choose "Comp1"
12. Navigate to "Changes" on right pane.
13. Change "New one" not visible on screen and instead it a PHP notice appear:

PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in path-to-webserver\glpi\inc\dbmysql.class.php at line 238

No, under the "Root entity".
I hope, this short video will help you better understand what I had in mind. (aprox.1,5 MiB)

Re: Changes bug?

I have no problem.
You have this issue if your computer is not created in the same entity as your change.
