Mail notification

Hello,

I´ve configured the mail follow-up option at GLPI 068RC3 but i don´t receive any mail when i test the configuration. My configuration is:

Use Email Follow-ups: Yes
Administrator Email: my@mail.com
Email Signature: IT Team
Add a link to GLPI in mails: Yes
Base URL used: http://192.168.0.112/glpi
Use a SMTP server to send emails: No
SMTP Host --
SMTP Port --
SMTP Login --
SMTP Password --
Recalls Alarms on cartridges: Never
Recalls Alarms on consumables: Never

Is there any error at my configuration? I think it should be enough to make it work

GLPI needs the mail fonction of php to send mail. Is it ok on your server ?

If your mail fonction is not valid, you need to give a valid smtp server.

I don´t know quite well how to configure php.ini file. The configuration i have is:

[mail function]
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = localhost
smtp_port = 25
; For Win32 only.
sendmail_from = me@example.com

;For Unix only

sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i

Is it correct?

I don't know you tell nothing about your configuration of your server...

GLPI needs a full operational server.

Is there any other applications on your server ?

and if you try to use the SMTP part of the GLPI configuration it is more simple to use.
