GLPI 0.85.2 - Clean Install - Add Components Not Functioning?

Hi folks.

Hopefully I'm just doing something wrong and the proper path/solution is not obvious to me. On my inventory of Computers, I'd like to add MAC addresses and in order to do that I assume I need to add the "Network Card" component to said computer. This function does not seem to be working.

I'll try to elaborate my steps:

• Go to Assets

• Go to Computers

• Select one of the computers I've added

• After my selection I have the menu on the left now that reads: Computer, Components, Volumes, Software, Connections, etc., etc.

• I select Components

• I select Network card in the pull down window

• I click the Add button

• and nothing happens

• I can continually reproduce this and I am unable to add anything from the pull down window actually

Never mind. Crisis averted. I figured out the issue.

Hi Shane,

I am having the same issue, how did you fix it?

Nevermind, it all works perfectly. You need to specify your components before adding them to a device.
