Duplicate computers

Hi,

I just want to ask how to prevent display of duplicate computers. Everytime the agent sends an inventory, it creates another ID for the same computer.

You may have problem with import rules

Hi,

I noticed that I accidentally deleted all the rules. I reinstalled again the plugin and will try to test again.

Ah of course if you delete import rules it will create device at each inventory

Looking at the other replies it looks like it was a problem with the import rules, re installing the agent should work, otherwise make sure your import rules are set correctly.

Hi,

I have the same problem here. We have one computer with the glpi-client installed, which is beeing duplicated every day. I already re-installed the agent, but without success.
Even if I manually delete the duplicate entries, new entries are being created the next days. I did not deleted any rule.

The rule being us when importing is "Computer import (by serial + uuid)".

Any suggestions / Ideas?

Same thing happened to me too, but luckily we got over it
