Removing Fields

The "Alternate username number " field under computers is useless to my company and we remove it.  It would be great if there was a way to customize each individual sections fields from the web interface directly instead of having to manually edit config files.

Is this currently possible or a planned feature?  If not, I may see if I can make a plugin that will do so.  I have not read any plugin documentation yet so I don't even know if it is possible.  But this feature would go a long way to cleaning up the interface by removing useless fields for those that don't need them.

That is not currently possible.  No idea if it's a planned feature out not.
