how to add admin user without having access to users

Hello,

Currently, my GLPI does not have any admin users because they were deleted when syncing with the active directory. Is there a way to add a user with admin access without using an existing administrator account?

No, a user could never give more right than he has.

So if there are no current administrators, how could I add an administrator account? Is there some file that lists all of the users and their levels of access?

to clarify: is it possible to change a user's privileges via command prompt?

If you have "write" access to the DB, you can do everything.

See : https://forge.indepnet.net/attachments/ … s-0.83.pdf

If you don't know how to read this doc, I can"t help you more.

Re: how to add admin user without having access to users

i do have write access. my plan is to go into the glpi_users file and change the access of one user, but the .myi,.myp, and .frm files are encrypted. is there a way to have a formatted view?
