Cost Center and Department

Hello

I just have a question which might have been asked before. I looked around in this forum but did not find a proper answer.

For reporting I need to group PCs, Printers etc by a cost center
So what I really miss are fields for cost center and also for a department name.

Are there any intentions to add this fields someday, or is there still an existing solution or workaraund for my problem

I use glpi version 0.83.1
Any comments are welcome

Hello,
We are using the entities to set cost centers to PC.
and we are using user's category to define department.

Okay I understand now.
I thought the entity is more the whole company or an affiliate.

What is user category ?

Is it group or location'
