Caching LDAP Auth ?

Hi,
I have a doubt, it's possible to implement something like this.

When an AD it's off, and the usar cannot log in, he store a cache (password) for 1/2 days (configurable)? Or when it cannot contact the AD, you set to use the GLPI Database (an password set automatically, generated by system and send a e-mail to user?)

It's just ideas, because today i have my AD off, and i have 140 users autenticated on this sad

Thanks for you support.

Regards,

Re: Caching LDAP Auth ?

Yes, and you can declare, in LDAP configuration, some directory replicates which will be use when primary is offline.

Re: Caching LDAP Auth ?

If our AD were down, my main concern wouldn't be about login into GLPI... :-)
