Tickets not updating

Hello.  Just recently we have run into a situation where tickets are not updating when posted using email or phone.  If we are logged into the GLPI system and post a new ticket, it does update and sends an email confirmation.  Also, even though when sending an email to open a new ticket will not post to the system, it does send a response email to the requestor stating that their email ticket has been received.  I would appreciate some guidance in helping to get this fixed.  Thanks for the help.
