Hi there,
Can someone help me with Active Directory setup for GLPI?
my domain is cancer.org
so I have setup the following AD;
base dn : dc=cancer, dc=org
root dn : cn=glpi, dc=cancer, dc=org
However, I cannot connect. Do i need to anything with php.ini file? I just can't get AD to work. I'm welcoming any ideas that may help me. GLPI version is 0.80.5
Thanks,
enay

hello
1) did you create the AD setup by using the AD preconfiguration model ?
2) could you post the whole ldap configuration ?

Hi enay...
Does the test button works after your configurations on ldap area?
If yes, try this... Open Administration > users, and list all users you have! After that, go to the button of the page, mark all users and on the combo box select Update > login ldap > "select your ldap config"
Try login!
Regards

Thanks scharpf.
No, the test failed. I'm not sure what settings I should be using.

Your Rootdn is a litle bit strange...
RootDn must have all the way to the account that you gona use to autenticate... ALL levels... Something like this-> rootdn:cn=admin-glpi,cn=Users,dc=classe,dc=cornell,dc=edu
You can use adsiedit to see your AD configurations... Open properties from your user glpi and look for it.

Thanks for all that replied.
I have resolved the issue. It was to do with cases and spaces. Anyone whoever run into this problem, just remember it's case sensitive and leave out the spaces for the base and root DNs.
This can be closed.
