feature request - selecting items on more than one page

When I select items on the page(using check boxes) and then click on the next page  all selected items are unselected on previous page. This is a problem when I want for example, tranfer items from more than one page.

you can increase the page size...

For transfert:
You can select computer from the 1st page, and ask for transfert (but don't launch it)
Then select computer or any other object from another page and ask for transfert, you will notice than object from previous selection have been memorized.

yes I can increase page size but scrolling is not ma favorite activity.

I know memorizing tranfers but selecting items on small pages is clear and simple solution. This selecting can by usefull in other scenario too.
