Change User Field

Hello. I have glpi version 0.80 running on Ubuntu Server 11. I wanted to know if someone could help me out.

I changed some of the field names to better suit my company, like I changed 'surname' to 'hchb login'....etc.
When I want to connect a computer or phone to a user, the user drop down list shows these other fields when I just want to see the actual user name. Is there a way to change this? a file to edit?

I hope this made sense. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Where had you make these changes ?
