Good morning,
-GLPI Version: 0.80.1 (just upgraded from 0.72)
-Hosted on Debian Linux, linux 2.4.33.7; PHP 5.2.6; Apache 2.2.4; MySQL 5.0.27
GLPI 0.80.1 (/glpid => /usr/local/www/devel.cmhome.org/htdocs/glpid)
Using Google Chrome 10
My GLPI profile is super-admin.
My LDAP Directory configuration:
server: sampson.cmhcorpnet.com
Connection filter: (&(objectClass=user)(objectCategory=person)(!userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)))
Basedn: DC=cmhcorpnet,DC=com
Login Field: samaccountname
I'm using a rootdn and pass for a non-anonymous bind.
No TLS
Port 389
Default Server: Yes
Active: yes
"Test of connetion to LDAP directory" result: Test successful (Main server : cmhcorpnet)
No Group or Entity filters defined.
When I try to login with an AD account, I get the error "Incorrect username or password."
When I try to Import users, I go to Administration > Users > LDAP directory link > Import new users.
Via the Advanced interface, I have the following set:
Basedn: DC=cmhcorpnet,DC=com
Search filter for users: (& (samaccountname=*) (&(objectClass=user)(objectCategory=person)(!userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2))))
Clicking Search results in no results or messages. I've also tried
(&(objectClass=user)(objectCategory=person)(!userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)))
...with similar no results.
Does anyone have a thought no why this isn't working? We never used LDAP authentication previous to our recent ugprade, so it shouldn't be an upgrade issue. I couldn't find any recent posts about this specifically (have scoured the wiki articles and other LDAP-related posts, but none of the suggestions have resolved this issue for me). I've also checked the current bug tracking and couldn't find one logged on this particular issue.
Thanks in advance! Love GLPI.

Hi.
rootdn should put in:
CN=administrator,CN=Users,DC=cmhcorpnet,DC=com
and password.

Sorry - I lost track of this issue with other issues that had come up at our Helpdesk. I just updated to 0.80.2, and it appears to have wiped my previous LDAP settings. I'll try over with the new version and see where it gets me.
