Is it possible, either natively by by a plugin, to import computer records into GLPI. I'm thinking maybe a CSV file with the correct fields.
My issue is getting devices such as iPads, phones etc which I cannot use OCSng on. I have information such as name, mac address, user etc in a spreadsheet and it would be great if I could just reconfigure that spreadsheet and import and then edit the records rather than having to create each ipad record manually from scratch.
We have 60 iPads now but will have another 400 in use in 2012 so if this is possible it would really help out.

Try the datainjection plugin

States it requires 0.78.2 < 0.80 and I am on 0.80.2 - no option to install it

You could "test" the daily snapshot
