Fusion Inventory 2.3.3 and agent windows 2.1.8-2

I've installed GLPI 0.78.5 from an existing GLPI vers. 0.72.4 and Fusion Inventory vers. 2.33, FusionInventory INVENTORY 2.3.3-1, FusionInventory SNMP 2.3.3-1 with Agent windows vers. 2.1.8-2.
I've installed in my pc as test and so It's not in production yet. The inventory assets are the same as imported from GLPI 0.72.4

I've two problems about the utilisation of FI.

1. Fusion inventory is installed in my test pc whose name is pdl076 and agent is running on pdl076.
I' ve found another PDL076 with other information about antivirus and serials that before wasn't discovered.

When I use this new versions in production there is the risk to find all the asset from 0.72.4 duplicated?? I don't want duplicated items...

2. PLEASE How can I use task management to discovery via snmp all assets to integrate the existing information with the new ones from FI modules? What I mean: what are THE STEPS to activate agent to discover? It's quite different from previous versions and so it 's important to have a GUIDE?

I attach in this post an image from which it can be seen the errors. Please, Can you describe how can I use the items in combo box?

3. How can update (force an update) snmp information (e.g. toner level) for printers from the printers panel of GLPI+ FI ?

1/ you must define rules "import devices" to not have duplicate (so to find existing device in GLPI when import it)

2/ The guide is currently written, wait some days

You told me that it 's necessary to define rules to import device to avoid creation of duplication of existing asset from a previous GLPI.

Where can i setup these rules to import and how I can force an agent to force information about a computer or a printer via
these import rules?

All computers pass in these rules, you have it into menu "plugins>fusioninventory>equipment import and link rules"

Ok, I found this menu.

Can you tell me how to use it to correctly import (and Update the information about) the computers, printers and other asset already in glpi (from update of previous version) without risk to duplicate the same computer?

The idea is:

*** I don't want import the asset WHEN it is already found with FI previous edition.****
*** I want to update its data items with new FI plugin ***

I don't understand how to begin all the procedure respect to the previous version of FI.

Here there are 3 sections: fusion inventory, fusion inventory INVENTORY and SNMP. There are some icons that are familiar with previous version but others I don't understand how they work.

With the first Fusion Inventory, I can setup agent and rules and see the result for unknown devices. There is the job management for scheduled task.

what can I use INVENTORY?

If I have to activate an agent to begin a new scan about the assets (to update the configuration already in db),

what can I do to start the job ???

It is necessary to use in a browser a similar thing ?

http://myserverGLPI//plugins/fusioninventory/front/plugin_fusioninventory.communication.php ?

Update: I understand now better (but not totally) how to use the features of new Fusion Inventory 2.3.3

But I can't understand a thing.

For the computer link (attached to the agent) Fusion Inventory can scan and capture every type of information (installed software, disk volume, free space, memory, monitor with serials etc)

But with the other computer that are in the network can't do the same..

Have you an idea of why??

it is important to understand this point for me because I'm approaching the upgrade of GLPI from 0.72.4 to 0.78.5 and this feature of FI can help better to assess the general inventory.

Please give me an idea.

Please give me a tip to solve this problem!

I have to install a agent for every pc ?? the binaries windows of agent 2.1.8-2 have to be installed on every asset pc to force update inventory

OR

I have to activate two agents? For the moment there is fusion inventory agent....

I have to run another generic agent for GLPI ?

Pleae give me a suggestion

For local inventory you have to install + activate the plugins and install agent with right URL of GLPI and no other required.
