Adding new field to Computer Template

Hi everyone,
I am new to this software. Please excuse my lack of knowledge.

I just installed GLPI and I am playing around with it.

In the search options, I can see a field called Location - Room Number.

However, I cannot find that field when I create a new Computer inventory record.

Is there a way I can add the field to a new template?

Also, is there a user manual I can download to be able to administare it?

What you may be looking for is the locations.  Setup -> Dropdowns -> Location (search).  There you can add new locations with corresponding room numbers.  These will get used in the location field of the inventory objects.
