Hi!
I have the same problem here.
Tried a downgrade to IE7 -> nothing happend. Removed all IE Updates. Nothing.
Deactivate the Antivirus Software and Firewall. That wasnt it too.
The thing with Fiddler.. works.. but i wont install and run that that on the clients.
I prefer to use the fox. But many People in my company still use the ie and wont switch.
I dont think its a server issue. Apache and MySQL are running on Debian here.
Sorry i cant read french.. but my bad english should fit
Greetings!

Hi
i can read english no problem.
in a way i am glad i am not the only one with this trouble....i though i was going crazy.... and as you say fiddler everywhere is not an alternative for me or changing everyone to FF as well since we have lots of inhouse application that use activex for now.

i just found something i dont like.
i deactivated the ldap authentication and - it works - even with ie8 :\
was it a misconfiguration in ldap? i dont know. but we got some more problems with that:
<offtopic?>
if we install the win xp os on the clients with a pre-configured nlite cd (installs service pack3, updates, office and some other programms directly with the windows setup) ldap auth wont work on that client. but if we install xp sp2 and do updates one by one there is no problem (!but this ie thing!).
edit: the nlite install ldap auth works too if we do not include xp sp3 and install it later (but it wont fix the ie issue). and -
</offtopic?>
no. clear the cache wont work with ie. :\
i hope you use ldap auth too - so we got the same problem and can fix it together ... anyhow...
edit2: the menu (on start screen, in object details and in user properties) is not the only thing that dosnt work in ie.
you even cant change the number of shown objects in list fields (e.g. computer inventory list). i really think there is something wrong with the ldap auth.

En 0.78.4 j'ai eu le même soucis avec le dernier Chrome... mais seulement lorsque je me connecte avec un utilisateur en mode debug.
Ma solution : vider le cache du navigateur ..
Prod. : CentOS 6.5 - PHP 5.3.3 - Apache 2.2.15 - MySQL 5.1.73 - OCS 2.1.2 - GLPI 0.84.6
Dev. : CentOS 7 - PHP 5.4.16 - Apache 2.4.6 - MariaDB 5.5.50 - OCS 2.3 - GLPI 9.1.2 + OPcache 7.0.5FE + APCu 4.0.11

Hi kix,
guess what
LDAP user here as well
yes it is happening to other screen as well BUT i just took those printscreen from the same page otherwise this thread will only contain printscreens......
i notice the problem is with Dynamic generated tables or something like that.
i tried the same thing you mentioned in your earlier post as well still no solution.
on a side note i tried in IE9 (windows 7 sp1) and all is good.....but since i can't upgrade everyone to win7 right now that is also not an option

late hi again!
no win7 is not an option.
you tried to test it without ldap authentication? that works here. but its not the final solution here too.. because the users wont log in every time they post a ticket. and i wont register all tickets by phone or mail. :\
i know that for every screenchange the ldap auth runs a serval times. tomorrow we will try to sniff some packets and see whats the difference between the browsers.
so long. good nite.

ok.. i saw ff and ie do completely different requests.
a quite look to the sourcecode shows that they both got the same html source.
a second look surprises me, that the dynamic table code cant be found in the normal source. (the table soure only is shown if you mark it in ff and select 'show marked sourcecode')
i knew i will hate this ajax web2.0 thing :\
so i thought something is wrong with the javascript in ie. but couldnt find it.
the worst thing for me is, that it works if i disable ldap auth. that shoudnt change anything else at the request or should it?.. getting insane...
maybe ill install ff on the clients only for glpi and set it as homepage...
but should be provisionally only..
mad greets.

If you use SSO please check my answer here : http://www.glpi-project.org/forum/viewt … p?id=23924

Hej pikashu!
Thanks! Your post showed me the way to solve. It wasn't something with SSO. Simply the last thing you said.
This works here:
---
Add the following key to the registry:
Type: DWORD
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Internet Settings/DisableNTLMPreAuth
Value: 1

Thank you and the google translator
