Set a default profile for some users or group

Hello,

I want a group of users, all to have the same login window under the same custom profile.
I know they can manually chose some default profile, but I want the super-admin to make the setting.
And how can I make the first window after login to be some plugin that I've installed.

How can I do this? Thank you.

Re: Set a default profile for some users or group

You can set a profile to be default.  I think there's a setting called "Default Profile Yes/No".  Yeah, there is.  Just set that for them.

Not sure what would happen if you set more than one profile to default, so I'd only set one.

Now using 0.78.1 on CentOS.

Unfortunately I could not find the "Default Profile yes/No" option.
See attached printscreen from one of my users. As you can see it there.

Have to set it on the actual profile, not on the user's assigned profiles.  Visit the profiles area.

Re: Set a default profile for some users or group

Thank you, I found it.
Another question is how can I make the user when login to automatically enter some entity (not root).
Right now, even if the users had that profile associated only on some entity (and no rigts on root), when they login they are on a root entity with that profile.

Hi,
I guess it depends on profile. On the user screen there is an option add to entity(choose what u need) with XX profile rights(rights fits to the entity tree).

btw: Using GLPI 0.78.1.

Production:

GLPI 0.80.4 + OCSI 1.02 + LDAP(MS Domain) on Debian GNU/Linux (database on master)
GLPI 0.80.4 on Ubuntu 9.10 (database master)

Re: Set a default profile for some users or group

It didn't work.
I did what you said (add a user to a entiy with CMTS profile and then remove the user from other root profiles) but when the user login he automatically become CMTS profile on root (so it is added a second profile (in fact the same but on root).
How can I make a profile to only have rights on some entity (not to entire root).?
