GLPI 0.78.1 requirement

Hi,

I have a QNAP NAS which have a QPKG package for GLPI 0.72.3 which i use it and run it in our company, due to the supplier is slow in upgrading the package to later release of glpi, i want go ahead and install in on 1 of our servers (win2008 32bit)

i looked for sometime in the forum or wiki for the exact requirements needed or compatibility related to the new glpi but i couldn't find what i'm looking for, unless it is in French which i dont speak it, so i wonder if someone can advice me if the following can work or no?

i will use the XAMPP Windows 1.7.3 which have all the distribution packages as the following: (windows 2008 32bit)

Apache 2.2.14 (IPv6 enabled), MySQL 5.1.41 + PBXT engine, PHP 5.3.1, OpenSSL 0.9.8l, phpMyAdmin 3.2.4, XAMPP Control Panel 2.5.8, XAMPP CLI Bundle 1.6, Webalizer 2.21-02, Mercury Mail Transport System v4.72, msmtp 1.4.19, FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.33, SQLite 2.8.17, SQLite 3.6.20, ADOdb 5.10, eAccelerator 0.9.6-rc1, Xdebug 2.0.6-dev, Ming 0.4.3.

Is there any compatibility issue with the above? or any known bug?

Also is it possible if i copy the GLPI folder from the NAS and replace on the windows server then do the upgrade to version 0.78.1?

Best regards,

Re: GLPI 0.78.1 requirement

No compatibility issue as far as i know, XAMPP is OK.

The only directory you really need to copy from your old server is this directory :

files

Be carefull with the plugins, please check first they have been released for the new version.
