Hi all,
I'm having a strange problem. If I send a followup for a ticket to a non-GLPI user, I don't have any problems. But if I send a followup for a ticket to a user coming from LDAP, somehow there is no mail sent. Is this a bug or a setting? How can I fix this?

To send an email, GLPI doesn't take account of the structure of the user.
That user was created by LDAP or manually, he have a form and it's this form which GLPI is going to look at.
Your LDAP users have email in their form ?

To be more specific, we only have it with one LDAP source. If I change the user to "---" (no user), and then send a followup, there is no problem. But if the user field contains the user, the user does not receive e-mails. Only when I send a solution, it is send. It looks like a bug to me!

OK, I solved it by removing all users. When a user now sends a mail, GLPI does a LDAP lookup, and the user is added. Now everything is fine again. Don't know why I had to do this, maybe because of the migration?
