How to configure samba to authenticate without AD.

I have Ubuntu Server with Samba as a PDC doing without AD authentication to a network with 89 stations XP, my question is:

Find neither an explanation of how to authenticate the GLPI through the Samba SMB protocol without AD (do not use AD and I have at least at the intention of implemental) as I do?

I have another server running Ubuntu St., Apache and ... to run GLPI and OCS Inv by the way it is installed and running. My only problem is the authentication of users in GLPI by Samba (SMB).

Your one long sentence makes no sense.  Please post a version number and describe your environment.
