The ñ is a specific chararter of spanish language is not normally used in English. some names of our computers have this character.
The Ocs inventory take the information in a good way(also these names). but glpi doesn't show these names correctly.
ej what we have a computer that is call FRD2RSIÑERIZ
Ocs take the name of the computer correctly
Glpi shows only FRD2RSI
So, where I can patch the GLPI to use UTF-8? Do I have to edit some file?
Debian 5.60 - php 5+ mysql-server 5.0.51a-24+lenny4 + ocsinventory-server 1.03 + glpi 0.78 OCS+import 1.4.0

GLPI is full UTF-8, but not OCS
In OCS, hardware.NAME : latin1swedish_ci
In GLPI : computers.name : utf8_unicode_ci
So, before import, GLPI change ISO to UTF-8.
In OCS, you have a patch to put the base in UTF-8. I think you have this patch.
But, in GLPI you don't have the same patch
CentOS 6.5 - CentOS 7.x
PHP 5.6 - PHP 7.x - MySQL 5.6 - MariaDB 10.2 + APC + oOPcache
GLPI from 0.72 to dev version
