places mass import

Hi,

I can't find a  way to mass import "places" (in spanish, "lugares"). It does not seem to be possible with the csv mass import plugin. Is there any way to do it other than importing them together with the users?

Re: places mass import

I think you want to import "Location"

Here is a workaround (for location and any other "dropdown")

Create a CSV file with 2 columns (serial; location)

ex :

serial;location
1;France > Paris
1;France > Lille
1;France > Marseille
...

And import this this as computer.
After import, delete the created computer (serial = 1)

Re: places mass import

ok, I did try the remi trick with one user/computer and seems to work ok.

It also seems that I have to take care with other imports which update this field as I want to keep the location comment unchanged (in my case, location is a unique room number, say PPB001, and the coment describes the room, as eg "STM-1 lab").

Thanks for the quick reply and the great coding you're doing!!
