Hi all. I just installed and activated the IP Addressing plugin. Its working fine but I was wondering if there is any way to get it to grab more than just the IP? There's columns for user, MAC address, and Reservation but nothing gets populated into those columns. Any ideas?

Hello,
the plugin reads this columns from the item itself.
In my case I get the User, MAC and item. I guess as soon as a IP is found the plugin searches in the database and reads out all available information and shows it in the correspondent column.
So, if you want a MAC you've to import it or write it in the connections tab-> Add networking port.
The same with the other stuff.
Have fun

Ah, so the user and MAC columns are populated according to entries in the database that match the IP's found?

Hello,
Yes Sir.
All this entries are in a different color, cross linked and when you click on then you'll see the item they belong to.

Hello all,
I couldn't find the IP Adressing plugin(link). Is there also a explanation or a manual for it?
Thanks

Hello,
now, The plugins name is "IP-Report". Yes its to confuse you.
Just click here: http://plugins.glpi-project.org/spip.ph … n_articles
Explanation or manual, let me put it this way: Try and Error.
Just kidding. It's not that hard.
Just open open a new card. Fill in the blanks. Choose what you want to be displayed, push Add, hit Generate.
You should slice the IP Ranges. (Printer, Networkdevices etc.)
Think about operational sections with in your firm.
Create a query for each IP range you manage.
Just the normal networking stuff.
Makes life a lot easier. And the the query runs faster.
Have a lot of fun...
