Send users an e-mail with credentials upon user creation

Hello,

I am using GLPI for a while now and used to just tell people their account credentials. Is there a possibility to automatically E-mail a new user his/her credentials?

If users don't know their account credentials, how can they login and check their email?
I think it makes more sense, if you forward their credentials to their managers.
You are talking about external email? or different kind of account?

We are a company which manages IT related stuff for individuals and Small offices. The idea is that they contact us because there is a problem and we create an account for the customer so the customer can track the interventions. Also this allows us to get a nice overview of what a technician should do etc.
I hope this gives you an idea of our setup
