"Post-Only" Users NOT Defined on GLPI

We want to NOT add users (other than super-admins) to GLPI and, instead, have everyone be a "post-only" user who is authenticated via http_auth_user from a mysql database on a remote host.

Has anyone done this?

Alternatively, does anyone know how we might do so?

RHEL5

Re: "Post-Only" Users NOT Defined on GLPI

It was php_auth_user which worked, and "post-only" appears to be the default user paradigm.

Now, all we need is to modify things so that the authentication process also pulls over the user's real name (who would know that "stardust" is "Helen Waite"?) smile
