I have not seen a lot of info on the LDAP settings for Groups. This is the way I was able to get it to work with my AD.
in central\administration\groups
Name: MYGROUP
In Users:
User attribute containing its groups: memberOf
LDAP Value: CN=MYGROUP,OU=MyGROUP_OU,DC=MyDOMAIN,DC=MYDOMAIN
In Groups:
Group DN: CN=MYGROUP,OU=MyGROUP_OU,DC=MyDOMAIN,DC=MYDOMAIN
The confusing thing to me was that I basically entered the Distinguised Name for the group in 2 places. That just didn't seem right but once I did it, it worked.
Now when my AD users log in their account is created and they are associated with all AD Groups that they are a member of.
Does anyone know how to sync groups from AD to GLPI instead of having to enter each on indivdually?
