Timesheeting

Hi to all and firstly, a big thank you to everyone involved in this project. We have been using GLPI now for almost a year and it certainly has helped our small department.

With the release of version 7, a few of our wish list items, that we were prepared to pay an engineer to develop for us, have been implemented. The last two remaining items is to get some form of timesheeting out of the Activity Plugin, The Project Plugin and the tracking functions as well as introduce an Estimated Time To Repair field in the tracking function.

I was excited when I saw that the Project and Activity Plugins created entries in the Planner, but when checking on the tables, there is no record of them in there. They are links only on the planning page.

Has anybody done any work on getting timesheets out of GLPI and if not, could this possibly be a feature that will make its way into the project?

Unfortunately, I know what I want out of the product but am not very experienced at this level of PHP. There also seems to be a shortage of developers in New Zealand. If I am wrong here, could you please point me their way.

Many thanks

Jassen

Re: Timesheeting

I do not understand what you want to do.

plugins send data to planning through specific functions. You can also use them.

Re: Timesheeting

Thanks for the response. I think I talked myself into a circle yesterday.

I demonstrated the new version to my collegues in the afternoon after posting this and realised that I could use the same query that planning.php uses to create timesheets.

thanks
