Debian, OCS et GLPI

Good morning to a all:
I am going to describe my doubt:
They have in a servant installed Debian OCS and GLPI, work perfectly but I want to know like doing so that the import of data is automatic. I watched after the forum but I do not get to understand it and I understood something on "cron" but not to which one talks about of the program, on linux what is. Thank you very much for the aid

Re: Debian, OCS et GLPI

it is a pseudo cron system integrated in GLPI.
When you used GLPI, GLPI automatically do cron tasks in background.
But if you do not use GLPI nothing happens.
You could make a real cron system doing a wget of the index.php page or the front./cron.php pages.
Several scripts also permit to make cron tasks like imports / sync. You will find them on the SVN.
