GLPI LDAP connection only with pre-windows logon name

Hi, wonderful product this is.
All is working together GLPI and OCS.
The connection to our windows 2003 AD works, credentials are used from our server, but the users only can logon in GLPI with the User logon Name Pre-windows 2000.
The same does not work with the User Logon Name.
Any ideas?
