Tracking individual purchases for software

Hello!

We are using version 0.65.

Our company has several departments, each with its own budget number. We need to keep track of which software licenses for a product belong to each department. For example:

Software: Photoshop CS2
Department 1 (Budget # AAA123): Purchases three licenses
Department 2 (Budget # BBB456): Purchases one license
     Department 3 (Budget # CCC789): Purchases 10 licenses

Currently, for each software product (Photoshop CS2) I can add multiple (licenses) but I see that I can only track one "Budget". Is it possible to associate a budget per purchase of software licenses rather than the entire set of licenses for a single software product? The only workaround I see is to create multiple software listings:

Photoshop CS2 - Department 1
     Budget # AAA123
Photoshop CS2 - Department 2
     Budget # BBB456
Photoshop CS2 - Department 3
     Budget # CCC789

But this would mean that my software list would grow unwieldy.

Any suggestions or is something planned for the future to better manage this?

Thank you! bill

Re: Tracking individual purchases for software

financial information contains a field budget in which you put what you want.

The 0.7 version will introduce a multi-entity multi-departement management system.
