Barcode Plugin

Hello there,

I've a problem with the barcode plugin. I use GLPI 0.84.1. I installed and enabled the plugin.
In Genaral Configuation I selected ean13 and saved it.
I did not found any rights management for the plugin. Is this so?

Only the super-admin can use the plugin. Where do I manage the plugin?

When I select some computers from the Asset list (yes they have an inventorynumber) and select Actions Print barcode I get a blank page back.
Back to computers there're still selected. I do the them with QRcodes (all settings yes) I get the computers list with the Generated file link and I can open the PDF with the QRcodes.

Where do I go wrong.

For blank page, see your error logs (glpi and Apache)

Good morning,
I ran GLPI in Debug Modus and got an error.
It's some misspelling in the barcode plugin.
The PHP script is looking for /barcode/lib/PEAR/PEAR.PHP and there is only a barcode/lib/pear/pear.php.
So I did a ln -s on the Dir and the file. presto it runs.

ddurieux you should correct that.

I still can't find any rights management. What has to be on write in the Profiles setting?
I'm puzzeled about that.

Hello again,

I found something interesting. In my environment it makes a difference how and from where one copies files.
The writing in the plugin  is OK.

So ddurieux, ash over my head and I beg for mercy.

But still, the plugin works only with the super-admin profile.

Where do I miss things

I'm surprising plugin works only with super-admin, it may works with all profiles have 'standard' view in  profile

Good Morning,

I've played a bit with the plugin.
What I've discovered is that when super-admin installs and enables the plugin only super-admin can use it.
When disabling and uninstalling and install and enable it with the admin profile only admin profile can use it.

I did that on my running system and verified it on a freshly setup for 0.84.20 in my test environment.

Has anyone an idea?

I found that I had to fill in the inventory number. If this number is empty, no barcode is created...

hello there
im facing the same issue with another plugin which is the dashboard ,
- no rights for control the access to the plugin
- only super-admin can use it ,
- its visible to all profiles but non of them can use it

any ideas ??

Hi,
I have the same problem (Ubuntu 12.04 + GLPI 0.84.7 + Barscode 0.84+1.0).

Plugin works only with "super-admin" and not with the "admin" profile even if this has the "standard" view.
I cannot find the "Rights Management" section in the Plugin Configuration.

I don't know how to replicate the FBohnen configuration to work, I cannot install plugin with the admin profile.
What is the procedure to install plugin as "admin"?

I looked in this section for the "admin" profile, but the only plugin that is configurable is the "OCSNG link".

Rights management - ID 3
Rights management - admin
OCSNG servers        Manually synchronization

Is there a mode to enable this section for the barscode plugin?
