Hi,
I have GLPI: 0.83.4 and OCS 1.01
I have a rule thats says for OCS Sync:
Logical Operator: And
OCSNG server is SERV1
Computer to import : Serial Number is already present in GLPI Yes
Computer to import : Computer's name is already present in GLPI Yes
Computer to import : Serial Number exists Yes
Computer to import : Serial Number is not N/A
Action:
OCSNG link Assign Link if possible
I keep getting new computers being created whos Serial is N/A, or, duplicates of existing ones. Using the Duplicate Computers report in GLPI I can see that the Name and Serial is the same, or the serial is "n/a"
I don't understand why I'm getting duplicates at all with these settings, even though I know that the OCSServer is old.
If I clean up all the duplicates, within a day or two I'll start seeing them again. Yet if I login to OCSInventory directly, it only shows one instance of the PC.
Also with these settings I'd expect that no new PC would 'sync' until we've manually added a matching name are Serial into GLPI, but yet they do.
Any ideas why ?

Hi Teguh,
Your post talks about 'fusioninventory' - I've no idea what that is.
Also in yours your getting similar but incorrect serials. I either get n/a, or the correct serial into OCS, and then GLPI *should* only sync when theres a valid serial. It doesn't corrupt a serial number partially.
Mine is native OCS sync in GLPI.
