messed it up

Hello everyone,

I had to re-install glpi today because I messed up a few things on the server and when I got to the page where it asks you, which database you want to use there where 2 options.

1) Use glpibase.

2) Create a new database or use an existing one

I had already a database called "glpibase" from the previous installation so I thought that glpi found out about it and was asking me if I want to reconnect to it (option 1), so I ticked option 1 but I can not see anymore my inventory data. Did it create a new database under the same name by overwriting the existing one?

Is this fixable? If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Many thanks
Goude

Re: messed it up

If you have choose "install" instead of "upgrade", yes you have erase the content of your DB.

=> restore your backup
