Autofill search list, ajax?

Good Afternoon,

I noticed on demo site that when you go to create a new ticket that it has a small box before the categories drop list that allows you to start typing in and it does a search in the categories as you type like a serach or autofill does.

How do I get that to work in GLPI?  I thought it had spomething to do with AJAX, but I cant find the setting for that either.
I am using 83.4 now and thought I saw the AJAX setting in previous versions.

Does anyone know what where to find this, or how to turn on that auto fill box?

Thank you,

Mike

I dont see it under setup>general

What tab is under? Maybe one of the plugins is hiding it?

Re: Autofill search list, ajax?

Setup / General / General setup tab
Use dynamic display for dropdowns and text fields

Re: Autofill search list, ajax?

Remi,

Thank you very much. I had played with that setting earlier and it didnt work but I completly missed the option for when it activates (how many devices in the list prior to it working)

Thank you so much for pointing that out to me, a second set of eyes is always good.

I appreciate the response and the resolution,

Mike
