not able to save sendmail password

Hi ,

I wanna save password for Mail server authentication ..there is no option to make it permanent . only a clear option . Please let me know how i can make that password permanent .

I believe that the password is not shown due to security purposes.
Once you enter the password and save it, it is saved.
