Hi,
We've seen this since 0.80.3 that we were running before upgrading to 0.83.2, but when I view a list of tickets, and have the 'Last Edit by' ticked, we notice that its not always accurate.
I'm looking at a ticket now (5217 for my own notes), and I can see the last Edit is by my colleague in IT, but yet the actual last edit was by the end-user, by email. The systems correctly put the end users name against the Follow-up, but the Last Edit field is showing wrong.
Unless of course 'Last Edit' isn't supposed to include email follow-up, which doesn't sound right to me.

anyone else seeing this ?
In the history of one ticket I can see the below.
I can see that 'Last Edit By' changes when Mark K makes a change, but it doesn't when cron_mailgate picks up an email from the end-user.

Hmmm.
ok it broke my GLPI.... we saw php code directly on the screen.
I had chown'd the files to apache:apache and matched the file permissions up to the originals (660), I've backed out.

I think you need to put the 0.83.31 version to apply the patch

Moyo,
FYI on this. I upgraded to 0.83.4 which includes this patch anyway. But I just noticed something.
I had a ticket that I had to send for Validation. When I did, the Edit By field changed as expected.
The manager then replied and denied the Validation, and again the Edit By field changed to him, as expected
I then sent a second validation request off to a different manager, and although the history shows this happening, the Last Edit By field remains as the first manager:
