GLPI Authentication with SAMBA

Good morning friends,

In my environment, i'm using a SAMBA Server acting as PDC (Primary Domain Controller), where users can authenticate with Windows Workstations in our NFS_SAMBA Domain (like a AD Domain).

BUT in my environment i dont have an Active Directory. Just SAMBA as PDC.

I would like to install the GLPI Tool in my environment, but i have a great number of users. And would be better if users could authenticate in my GLPI through my Samba (in other words, GLPI reading SAMBA's Users Database).

So this is my question: What can i do about this? GLPI can access directly SAMBA's Database to authenticate users? Or no?
