Problems with Rules Actions: ASSIGN or ADD

Hi everyone.

Wondering if someone could help me.

I created a rule. Lets Named it "Rule Test".

Rule Test have only one criteria: Category is "X"

If i change category to X it triggers "Rule Test" (the Test Rules Engine shows me that the rule is been triggered correctly).

Rule test has only one Action: Assign "Joao da Silva" as technician for the ticket.

But here is the problem. In the ACTION page of Rule Test, when I choose to change the field "Technician" to receive the change, GLPI opens another field for me to fill in. This new field asks me to choose between "ASSIGN" or "ADD". As I understand:

ASSIGN: remove all technician already assigned and assign only "Joao da Silva" as technician of that ticket.
ADD: keep all technician already assigned and add "Joao da Silva" together with the other technician for that ticket.

The problem is: the ASSIGN option are not removing the technicians already assigned. He is only ADDING "Joao da Silva" as a technician together with the other pre-existing ones.

So, whats going on here? My definitions of ASSIGN and ADD are wrong, it is a GLPI bug, or another thing?

Appreciate a lot suggestions to solve this.

This was previously reported as a bug on GitHub but the issue got stale and auto-closed. If you can confirm this is still broken on the latest release (10.0.18), feel free to make a bug report on GitHub.
