How to Create Subtasks/Checklists in GLPI? Onboarding/Term Tickets ETC

Example of a Lansweeper ticket template we have our contract is expiring, and we decided to try alternative platforms as a non profit. I am self-hosting GLPI right now but struggling to be able to get a nice uniform list like this one in GLPI. Sure, I can make each one a task template, but the amount of screen real estate it takes on a ticket is pretty crazy. And have a task for each one of these would be horrific to scroll through imo, especially since we have so many New Hires/Terms.
I have tried to make a form for submission, but then quickly realized that won't actually reflect on the ticket itself like Lansweeper does.
Any advice moving forward would be awesome, we love GLPI, but this is one of the hurdles we need to get through.

Have you seen the TODO List view for tickets? It is the list icon at the bottom of the timeline.

This is what I was aiming for, which is our setup in Lansweeper. This, unfortunately, while better, is still a far cry from our nicely formatted list for tickets. We have several checklist items, and this clutters the ticket page quite a bit.

If there were a way to add multiple tasks, each with a checkbox within its own "message box," that would be preferred. Any ideas or recommendations?

You could customize it further using the UI Customization feature which lets you add custom CSS. It is a tab inside each Entity form.

A further note, it seems like the current TODO list UI isn't what was intended. A Pull Request was opened today to make it more compact. It should be included with the next 10.0.X release.

As the changes are all in CSS, you could implement the changes immediately using the UI Customization feature I mentions before. Just be aware that the feature only supports plain CSS, not SCSS.
