I am trying to make a custom profile for our grounds and maintenance staff so that we can use GLPI for maintenance requests.
I have tried to base the profile off of the default helpdesk profile but I just can't seem to get the add solution option to show. All of the grounds staff have the custom profile applied to them and they are able to see the tickets that have been logged to their group, they can provide an answer but they cannot provide a solution.
I have read through the documentation but none of the information seems to cover adding a solution.
What have I missed?

Check the lifecycle settings in the profile. The profile needs to give permission to change the status to solved.
