Edit reservations form

I would like to create a model to reserve cars in my company. The reservations tab works well with the generic objects plugin. However, I would like to be able to enter the mileage and gasoline in custom fields for each new reservation. I had no success using the additional fields plugin. If anyone has made it work this way I would be grateful.
