Hi,
We established a new domain. How do we ensure that the new domain name is updated for users in glpi without reconnecting to all users?

You changed Active Directory domains?
1. Deactivate the existing LDAP server entry in GLPI and add a new one for the new AD. If the old AD domain is still active, you can delay deactivating it in GLPI until after all users are linked to the new domain.
2. Go to Administration > Users and search "LDAP directory for authentication IS YourOldAD" to see all users still linked with the old AD. You may want to filter the users further to for example only see active users.
3. Click the checkbox in the top-left of the results table to select all users on the current page.
4. Click the "Actions" button above the checkbox
5. Select "Change the authentication method" and then choose "Authentication on a LDAP directory" and your new AD domain. Click "Post" to perform the update.
6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 until you have no users left linked with the old domain.
