I am exploring GLPI as a possible option for our ITSM solution and was tinkering around with it. Especially the option to convert e-mails to tickets automatically.
For this purpose I use the demo at the hosted version (glpi-network.cloud)
However I first could not get it to work with our Exchange Online environment (the documentation really needs some help) and when it did, it pulled all my mails from the mailbox. Which I did not expect. I would have expected it to just pull all new messages.
I can only see in the logs message that the mails were rejected because the senders were not known users in the system.
I had not yet filled the field to assign a folder where GLPI should put the rejected mails, so I am wondering: where are those messages now? I would need some of them back. And the "List of not imported Emails" is empty...
I read some comment that for people with Google accounts the messages could still be found, but had been archived. I cannot confirm the same for Exchange Online. I do remember some topics but the messages seem to be gone from the server.
