[solved] Glpi-Agent create duplicate entry Computer

We are migrating from an inventory of OCS with the native GLPI-AGENT

I'm noticing duplicates, despite having a computer name computer and serial numbers
Is there a way to combine these workstations or resolve in another way?

GLPI 10.0.10
GLPI-AGENT 1.5

Hello. Can you write in more detail what exactly was changed in the rules?
I faced the same problem.

Okay I managed to figure this out.

What helped me was when I went to the computer asset I wanted to update there is a tab called "Import Information".  This told me what rule was being used to import or update that computer asset.

I then went into "Administration", "Rules" and chose the "Computers" tab which list all the rules that are applied to computers.  I first tried disabling the "Computer update (by serial + uuid)" rule and found that I was still getting duplicates because my computer asset was now being added by the "Computer import (by serial + uuid)" rule.  After disabling "Computer import (by serial + uuid)" rule the next rule was the "Computer update (by serial)" rule which worked for what I wanted and they GLPI agent updated and existing entry for a computer.

Hope that helps.
